GERALD PATRICK LINEHAN (Jan. 31, 1926 – July 3, 2020} served in the Korean War with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. MELVIN P. DAVIS {July 23, 1929 – May 11, 1999 Aged: 69} at the Mid Michigan Medical Center.
Melvin was born in Sydney to Edward and Gertrude (Hawco) Davis who are both from Colinet and Mount Carmel, St. Mary’s Bay. After serving with the U.S. Marines, he worked for Ford Motor Company in Livonia, retiring in 1984 and moved to Gladwin in 1986. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church where he was an usher. He was a member of the Gladwin Area Hockey Association. He also delivered Meals on Wheels for 10 years.
